Day 24
Some Sweet Sisters
I was trying to get a picture of Joanna and Natalie for their birthday invitation this weekend. I didn’t get quite what I wanted, but I did get some good sister love:
I love the idea of this one, if I could only paste real smiles on their faces. :)
This is my favorite, though Natalie looks sooooo tired.
It was right after nap if I remember correctly – I need to pick a better time for her I think!
Austin’s 5th Birthday Party!
Joanna’s friend Austin from her class at school had his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese this past Friday evening. We had such a great time!
Joanna was eager to try lots of things. Riding a horse:
Hammering some sharks:
James kind of liked the rides, once he figured out they’re weren’t torture devices. In fact, he didn’t want to get out of them!
I will apologize right now for the really awful pictures. I only had my iPod with me for photos, and it’s really not great for indoor shots. But I’m thankful I had something with me!
There was this giant rocking horse that Joanna wanted to ride. This is her I’m having fun even though this is very scary face. She didn’t ride it twice though. :)
I had a hard time getting Natalie to play any of the games or ride any rides. She was very scared of the whole thing. (She liked eating pizza and cake though.) :)
Jamesie boy!
There’s the birthday boy!
I LOVE James’ face here!
I think I (or Matt) may have to go back to Chuck E. Cheese for a one-on-one date with Joanna. She had such fun!
Happy birthday Austin! Thanks for letting us come play!

Joanna's Dance Moves at the Wyndnwyre Concert
Miscellaneous From Last Week
A lot of the pictures in this post are from my iPod, and they are, on the whole, pretty awful in quality. But in content they’re pretty precious!
I think this was one of my 365 posts, but I just had to post it again – he is so stinkin’ cute!
I love how James came into the kitchen, picked up the mop handle, and proceeded to actually mop the floor. He’s my favorite. :)
I find this sweet child like this a lot – book in hand, just flipping through. She’s my favorite. :)
James LOVES to push the buttons on his sister’s computer.
Joanna is practicing her make-shift violin here.
I would like to point out the bracelet on the ankle – she wore it like this for a lot of the day. She’s telling me about the story here. She’s my favorite. :)
Crackers!!
Joanna with her Star of the Week poster hung outside her classroom.
I sure am glad I’ve got such cute kids to take pictures of!
