Recently I've become a devoted coupon clipper. Now Sundays are kind of like Christmas -- opening those coupon inserts and seeing what kind of goodies are inside. $.75 off toothpaste? Fantastic! $1 off cereal -- wonderful! Recently I started using The Grocery Game, this website that finds grocery deals for you. You clip the coupons and save them 'till "The List" tells you to use them (basically whenever the item is cheapest). It's a very cool website, but there is a fee to use it. I just finished my $1 4-week trial, and I definitely recommend it! I didn't renew, because I'm going to attept to kind of do it on my own by reading the ads and shopping around. I did learn a lot in the last 4 weeks, though. Mostly I shop at Kroger, and their website is pretty cool. You can read the weekly ad online and add items to a shopping list by clicking on them. You can also add e-coupons to your kroger card. I also learned that you can find coupons online, and that Walmart will price match any sale.
I don't get the newspaper because I don't read the newspaper; I just wait for Matt to tell me stuff. However, a very nice friend of my mom's gets the paper and is not a coupon clipper, so he gives me his. If anyone else out there doesn't use their coupons, I'll happily take them off you hands. :) I'll even take your whole leftover paper and recycle what I don't need. You'd be helping the enviroment!
