There's this commercial on right now (I forget what for) where the dad leaves on a business trip and takes his daughter's little stuffed monkey with him. He sends her pictures of the monkey in all these different places (okay, I think it's a cell phone commercial).
Well, my mom thought it would be fun to do something similar (I don't know if she got the idea from this or not). So she was digging through some stuff and found an old Troll doll (remember these?) that was my sister's, I think. So she got this Troll doll out to take on her trips, but Joanna found it and FELL IN LOVE. I'm not kidding, it was so hiliarious. She carried it around, rocked it, kissed it, she may have even nursed it.
My mom managed to steal it back, :) and she took it on her last trip. Check out her blog for the Troll's adventures! Click on Gran's Adventures on the right side of the screen.

ReplyDeleteThe first graders used to do something similar with Flat Stanley. It was always fun to see him in other places.
