Monday after James’ {very short} nap, we met Lisa and her girls at the park.
Natalie wasn’t happy I wouldn’t put her in the baby swing. There is just so much emotion locked up in that little face!
Anna and Joanna took a few laps with their scooters. So cute!
There were like a million people at the park – we weren’t the only ones who thought going to the park on a beautiful day off from school was a good idea. :)
It is HARD to watch three kids at the park. I pretty much concentrated on following James and glancing at the girls. I don’t think I’d go when it’s that crazy without another adult.
James of course discovered the biggest piece of equipment and the fastest slide.
He went up the stairs and down the slide… over and over and over again!
What fun!
Lisa gave Natalie a boost across the monkey bars.
Oh but she wanted to do it herself! She could swing a bit and hold on for a while, but couldn’t get to the next bar.
Joanna made it to the third before falling off.
We had a lovely time at the park!
There were much tantrums to leave though. I actually promised them all sips of my Dr. Pepper if they’d stop crying and screaming and get in their car seats. Would you know – it worked! Absolutely worth the leetle bit of caffeine they ingested from the watered down last few ounces of soda. :)
When bribery works, it is a beautiful thing.
