Yesterday we ventured outside with the kittens. They LOVE to play under the deck. Joanna is trying to coax them out. "Tittens, kittens" she will call to them.
I've got a little tomboy on my hands. Okay, maybe not completely, but she likes being barefoot and playing in the dirt.
I think this one's going to be my little porcelain princess.
Sliding is so much fun!
"Didn't you hear... I'm tough."
Later on, at bedtime. Such cute snugglers:
They wouldn't come out from under the deck. We coaxed, we stomped, we brought out Mama Kitty. We got two. Then about 11pm (after my big 'ol Kroger run) we got two more with some stomping and carrying on. This morning was very very early for me due to a series of unfortunate events. Natalie woke up at 4:48am to eat. That's not so bad, a little early for her, but fine. She layed next to me and nursed for 30 minutes or so, then rolled over and fell asleep. I heard a very loud meowing at that point from outside, so I slipped out to see if I could get the last kitten from under the deck. I managed to coax her out enough to grab her (phew!). I took her back to her Mama, then went to lay on the couch for some sleep! Just a few minutes later, not long enough for me to lose conciousness, I heard Joanna. I wanted to cry! It was 6:15!!! And I'd been up since 4:48!!!!! And I hadn't gotten to bed until midnight. :( It was very very sad.
Fortunately today was a Thursday-Friday so I survived. We had playday, and I had the knowledge that Matt is taking off work tomorrow!
