The Azure Standard delivery was today! It came in about 3:30 to the parking lot of the Tractor Supply in Porter.
Thankfully, Mom was off today, so I didn’t have to go by myself with three children the first time. (Yikes!) Mom wanted to come, so instead of leaving her with the kids, we all piled in the car and headed to the drop!
I knew I was in the right place even before I talked to anyone because I saw my name on the ground. :)
There’s the big truck!
Not all that stuff belonged to our drop. The driver still had a ways to go.
My sack of wheat berries was a little open at the top, and a little bit fell out onto the ground. Aren’t they pretty?!
I need to take some better pictures of them next to something so you can see how little and cute they are. :)
There’s my pile! The sack of wheat, the yellow box is full of 20lbs of Braeburn apples, and the little box on the top had another 3lbs of apples, a pound of unsalted butter, a box of plastic lids for the canning jars, and a sealing lid for a 5 gallon bucket (for the wheat).
My big ol’ apples up close. Matt and I cut into one this evening – very juicy!! I’m planning to make applesauce with a lot of these babies. If I don’t manage to get a water bath canner pretty soon, I will just freeze it. That works too.
My loot in my kitchen.
And not really related: Joanna the gangsta.
Both girls decided they needed hats and gloves for the sunny, 70 degree afternoon. They’re funny. :)
