Maybe I’ll Use Bullet Points

  • We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and day, though it still doesn’t feel like 2012 yet.  Maybe I’m in denial; I will turn 30 this year, after all.
  • Last night Matt and I made it all the way to the late hour of 11pm before heading to bed.  :)  I was then visited by my sweet snuggling middle child, who couldn’t sleep for all the illegal fireworks in the area.  I knew that I could put her back to bed fourteen times, or just wait for the fireworks to stop before returning her to her little pillow.  But with all the noise, moving two year old, and snoring husband, I didn’t sleep for the next hour and a half.  But a little after 12:30 most of the noise was over and I sent Natalie back to bed (in Matt’s arms).  Then I got to sleep late, so it was okay.  :)  I dislike midnight fireworks though!
  • This morning we missed church so I could make rolls and time them perfectly.  Our church only had one service, or we’d have been able to be at an earlier one.  It feels weird to miss church.  Kind of doesn’t feel like Sunday.
  • We went to Uncle Mark’s house for lunch this afternoon – YUMMO!  We brought four dozen rolls and came home with probably a dozen or less.  With only 12 people eating, I’d say they were a hit!  And I’m sure each of our children ate at least three.
  • I really enjoyed this post by Kelly’s Korner today, a blog I like to read.  Click over if you're a parent of little girls… or even if you aren’t!  It really resonated.
