Matching Girls (and sleep)

Matt took these pictures of the girls this afternoon on Joanna’s “new” bed.

This one was from Gran’s apartment, and she doesn’t need it anymore.  It’s pretty cute and it has a trundle.

Last night Joanna wanted to sleep on the trundle so we thought we’d give it a shot with Natalie in the daybed.

Something happened in there (maybe Joanna hit or kicked Natalie?) and Natalie started crying and screaming at the door.  Finally we went in there to see if maybe the big bed was too much and she wanted her little bed back.  I couldn’t believe it with all that screaming, but Joanna was asleep!  She had fallen asleep and stayed asleep with all that screaming!  I scooted Joanna onto the daybed and folded down the trundle.  We moved the toddler bed back in and Natalie went right to sleep.

Now back to the cute pics from today!

This afternoon the girls had fun putting bows in their hair.

I think they’re JUST PRECIOUS!

On the sleep front, all three kiddos are in their bedroom asleep right now.  The girls went to bed a little before eight and James fell asleep soon after.  I laid him down probably around 8:30 (asleep) but the girls were still awake.  I was worried they would wake him up, but they were very considerate and quiet!  I was thinking he might wake up by now, but he’s still asleep.  Matt and I are watching TV, but we’ll be heading to bed soon.  I wonder if he’ll sleep a big chunk now or wake up for a while first?  This sleeping adventure is kind of fun, but I am looking forward to when he develops a pattern.

Enough rambling for now – time for a backrub!
