The other morning, Matt had James for a while and actually managed to get him to take a pacifier. It probably also helped that his sweet sister brought him her lovey to cover up with.
Yesterday I was giving James a bath and asked Joanna to bring me a towel for him. She brought him this one:

Too funny!! Both my children have used/worn pink/girl things multiple times, just not in our house... when we were at other people's houses. Never seemed to bother them!
