I'm tired.
I'm grumpy.
Natalie took her whole nap of the day on the four minute car ride home.
There is a fly in my house that won't die.
And it's noisy.
I want to watch televsion. Good television.
The smart meter was installed, and lucky us, there's a $3 surcharge every month. I didn't ask for the damn thing. It's not helping me; it's helping them.
I'm hungry.
I want steak.
I don't have steak.
I have beans. And apples.
I don't want beans and apples.
I took all the kids to Mudpie to get James' footprints on a plate.
No one offered to help me.
I don't ask for help.
They kind of look like crap.
My husband forgot the jars and cartons to stop at the farm. Again.
So that'll be an hour and a half more time tonight after he should be home that he isn't.
I hope the children survive me today.
I have something to do tonight that I don't want to do. At all.
But I feel obligated.
I want to watch Fringe instead.
I don't want anyone to commiserate with with or offer suggestions for bettering my mood.
I want to wallow.
On the blog.
It's only 2:24pm.
I'm really looking forward to about 9:30pm.
Then I'll be done for the day.
Unless James is up when I get home like he was last night.
Then it will be later.
I want to sleep in a hotel tonight.
By myself.
Diagonally across the middle of the bed.
I'll be better tomorrow.
LOL about the foot prints. When Jacob was born it took a long time to adjust - socially. A bunch of girlfriends were going to paint pottery and drink. I was nursing and had the baby and tried to do his feet. My friends were all tipsy and no one helped. They were all laughing and having fun and making plans for after, my plans for after involved nursing and not sleeping. They were all super cute and made- up, I was saggy, baggy, leaky, and weapy. The plate looked like crap. I still have it and now enough time has passed that I can think it's sort of funny but not all the way funny.
