I had a lovely visit with my ObGyn this morning. Here is what we found out: I am 4cm dialated and 90% effaced. The head is still high. She said don't go far, and don't wait around to come in to the hospital. Hopefully this labor will be quick like the first one! My doc is on call the 31st and 1st, so maybe she'll get to deliver Baby Sister. We made an appointment for next week, but she didn't think I would make it. Yea! I am so glad that my body's been working on this labor business. I sure would have been sad if I hadn't made any progress. :)
I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions of course for about 13 weeks now, but I've also started to have some stronger contractions over the past week or two. They're mostly in the evenings when I'm tired and they are not regular at all. It is so fun to think she could be born ANY TIME now!! Will it be this year or next?!
That's so exciting! You're almost halfway there with being 4 cm already! Come on Baby Sister, come on! I'm thinking you're going to have a 2008 baby! Wednesday's my guess:)
ReplyDeleteI'm not guessing...but I'm so excited for you!! I've just entered the "seriously, how much longer is this pregnancy going to last" mode, and can't wait for the next three months to disappear! We'll be praying for easy/quick delivery with no complications! Can't wait to see pix and find out her name!

Wow, it serioulsy blows my mind how some people can walk around like that, and how other's their water already breaks and are in labor, yet they are just a 1 (that just happened to my cousin). I just keep waiting to hear the news...I feel like it will be the next few days for sure. Can't wait to know the official name :-)
