Waiting

It's 8:05, and Matt and I are waiting on Joanna to wake up so we can open presents. Is that backward, or what? Honestly, though, I'm hoping she has a day much like yesterday. I'm pretty sure she's not going to want to nap this afternoon with all the family fun at Mamma and Pop's house, so if she gets in a lot of extra sleep this morning -- yea!! That makes for a happy Joanna and a happy Mommy.

Matt and I have already broken into our stockings -- we couldn't help it! And I believe Matt's family tradition growing up was always that the kiddos could open their stockings whenever they wanted to in the morning. I think this is a holdover from that. Let me just say that I'm stocked on chocolate for a while (a couple days at least)! I am such a chocoholic, especially these days. :)

Merry Christmas everyone! I look forward to catching up with all of you soon. Oh, and I'm sure you assumed, but no baby yet! I'm 38 weeks today; we've still got time. If anyone out there has a minute, I'd be interested in when your babies came (i.e. first born at 40 weeks, second born at 38 1/2, etc.) I'm curious!! Leave a comment.
