Things I actually really do like about summer, for real

• putting the girls in dresses and sandals – so easy!
• wearing flip flops
• laundry drying very fast outside
• more available babysitters than usual
• the A/C makes a delightful white noise, even though it is expensive
• shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Design Star in the off-season

I grumble a lot about summer; it’s really not my favorite time of year for oh so many reasons, but I wanted to document a few things about this season that actually make me happy!
