Coincidence

Today was another great Tuesday of MDO/SLC.  Love it!  The girls really seem to love it, too.  I actually finished up with meetings at 11:35 and had until 2:30 TO MYSELF!!  I put gas in the car, cleaned the kitchen and dining room, and slept for about 20 minutes.  It was delightful!  I wouldn’t want a ton of this, but a couple hours to myself every now and then is really wonderful!

I picked up Joanna and discovered that she’d been bit today.  Guess who did it?  Her best friend Anna!  Lisa and I decided it must have been a sign of affection.  :)  She didn’t seem to traumatized by it and still gave her friend lots of hugs and kisses.

Then the peculiar thing happened.  I picked up Natalie and discovered she’d been bit today too!  I had to sign an incident report.  Something for the scrapbook!

I just had to take a picture of the report – I’m not the only one trying to call her JoNatalie!

Apparently she and a friend were playing in the house and the friend bit Natalie.  For all I know, Natalie slugged her first!  Fortunately the bite didn’t break the skin, but there was still quite a mark this evening!  She didn’t seem traumatized by it either.  :)

This isn’t from today, but I just think it’s so cute!  There’s something about a little girl in a diaper and wooden shoes…

I sent Matt off to volunteer for Baby Daze tonight along with a van full of stuff to drop off.  With him volunteering, I get to shop the volunteer presale.  (Because of course I feel good enough to shop but not to work!)  I love Baby Daze!  And I cleaned out some of my “girl” stuff I don’t plan to reuse along with some toys the girls don’t play with much.  I’ve needed to streamline a little in the playroom, and I’m not done yet!  We have too much stuff, and the clutter makes me crazy!

  1. I'm so glad Joanna didn't have a mark!!! Anna has left a few marks on Emma this week. Hopefully this is the one and only week of her biting career!
