I miss Windows Live Writer

A lot. I'm on my old computer (which I've kind of missed!), and I just haven't felt like downloading it here. It may be too much for this little machine anyway. If I'm going to be without the big Dell for awhile, I may have to give it a try. Sadly, big Dell has been infected with something grody. I called Mel (the computer guy) yesterday, and he told me something to try, but it didn't work. So I called and left a message today. I'm hoping I can bring it to him and have him fix it. I haven't backed that one up in a while, sadly, so I'm slightly worried about that. I think just about all (if not all) of my pictures are on CDs though. I'll survive if that's the case.
Now, to happier things! I haven't taken a ton of pictures lately (I've been feeling puny), but here are a few sweet ones:
I think this was Friday. The girls were having a picnic snack. They're so cute! Joanna put this hat on Natalie. This is the face I got when I asked for a smile. Love it!

We went to the teacher appreciation lunch today, but didn't really feel like bringing in the booster seat. Natalie did so well sitting at the table like a big girl! It's moments like these that make me soooooo thankful I'm pregnant. She's growing up too fast!

I didn't know it before, but God reads Facebook. Here's how I know: Yesterday I was craving chocolate. Almost enough to make Matt go fetch me some, but it was late, so I didn't. Anyway, I posted two status updates on Facebook involving chocolate in just a couple of hours. Then today, I had to be at church at 7:30am to sub for bells, and Debbie Huxohl had baked me chocolate chip cookies as a thank you for subbing! Then at the teacher appreciation luncheon, I got a door prize full of more chocolate! Oh yum. I had to take a picture. You'll see I couldn't fend of the masses while doing so.

Lately Joanna has been showing more interest in letters and "writing." She LOVES writing on my paper with my pen, of course. She had very carefully and purposefully drawn several lines across the paper. When I commented on how much I liked them, she told me they were people's names, "like Gran and David and Patrick and Auntie Trathryn." Whoo hoo!! Prewriting!!

I'm so excited about this. Up until very recently, she had just shown no interest in letters or writing or coloring or crafts really of any kind. I wasn't worried (bummed a little, maybe) cause I knew that kiddos develop these kinds of things at different times. I can't remember if I've posted this, but she can also recognize her name. I love that! She's not interested in writing it yet, but she can pick it out among lots of words on a page. I think she's starting to recognize Natalie's name, as well. And, of course she knows these words: Kroger, Sonic, and McDonalds. :)

This is an awful picture, but it was the best I could do without getting up. Natalie is "reading" Goodnight Moon to her Daddy. Don't mind that it's upside down. The story's still the same.
