This and That

Last Thursday when I picked up Natalie from preschool, they hadn’t done show-and-tell yet, so I got to see Natalie’s show-and-tell!

She brought two Groovy girls.

I can’t remember where I was, but Matt took the kids on a walk and took a couple of pictures first (unprompted!)

Joanna is so tall!

This was yesterday morning (and clearly taken with the good camera – whew the difference!).  James put his pants on his head.  I just love so much that he knows he’s funny!

I could eat his face.  He is sooooo cute!

James has been puny the last couple of days.  His major symptom is fever, but it’s accompanied by crankiness and loss of appetite.  This is the kind of virus (I’m assuming?) my kids get from time to time.  If it doesn’t get worse, I will consider us very lucky.

I gave James a muffin to eat in the car for breakfast.  The Frosted Flakes bowl is just an empty bowl, being reused.

We dropped the girls off at school then headed into Atascocita for some shopping.  He was sooooooooooo sweet and such a lovely shopping companion.  I gave him Tylenol a bit before 8, which helped him feel not so terrible.  He really wasn’t hungry today, but the thought of French fries really cheered him up!  (Again, the Froot Loops cup is just a cup.)

He only ate a few, but he also licked his fingers.  :)

We got back home; I got a few things done, and then we snuggled.  It didn’t take long for this to happen:

Fortunately I had my phone and also fortunately Mamma and Pop were up for picking Joanna up from school!!!  I would have been sooooo sad to wake this baby up!

I don’t love it when my babies are sick, but I DO love snuggles!

His fever was almost gone this evening with no Tylenol in his system so I’m really really really really hoping he’s almost done being sick.  And that nobody else gets it!
