James is Nine Months Old!

This is big new people!  James is 0.75.  He’s 3/4ths.  He will be ONE is just three measly months.  I’m not ready for this!

We took some 9 month photos out on the deck this evening.  These puppies are straight out of the camera – raw, unedited…

and delightful.  :)  The first few I would like to title The Many Faces of James:

He may have been checking out his daddy or one of his sisters here – that’s a pretty happy face!

See his little pointed toes?  I am in LOVE with these little feet!

He was starting to tear up a little – allergies?

Gotta keep tabs on the sisters.

Oh this boy!!!!!!  Couldn’t you just eat him up with a spoon?!!!

Oh the feet!  The feet!!!

This may be my favorite of the evening, though that’s a tough call.  The lighting is really good in it, I think.  And he looks like himself.  :)

That boy is just so stinkin’ precious!!!!!!!!!

A few things he is up to on this, the nine month anniversary of his birth.  James…

• Can sign “more.”  Or rather, he has signed more… once.  :)
• Likes to stand up, holding on to something.  He can’t pull up yet though.
• Is quite the kicker, especially while nursing.
• Scoots very fast on the floor.  He pushes himself along mostly with one foot, the little little toe stuck out.  He also uses his hands and the other leg as well.
• Gets up on his hands and knees like he’s going to crawl for real, but just hasn’t yet.
• Lights up when he sees his daddy.
• LOVES to eat half a banana.  Also really loves Cheerios, puffs, and Baby Mum mums.
• Is happy to eat pureed foods but also feeds himself very well.
• Will cry if you fish food out of his mouth (like say, a pizza crust that is too big and too soft).
• LOVES the bath, especially when it’s in the kitchen sink.  Oh the mess that boy will make with his splashes!  Love it!
• Really loves music and has quite the rhythm.  He is a good “dancer.”
• Has his 9 month check up tomorrow.  I will post stats and an update then.
• Is so precious and loved by his family.
