We went to the Vandenberge’s for dinner tonight. Tony grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, and we had sweet potato fries. YUMMO! Can you believe this – I have never liked (or even been able to tolerate) sweet potatoes, and now Lisa has prepared them twice that I’ve just LOVED. Yay Lisa!
Anyway, we brought dessert. I made a brownie American flag. Don’t count the stripes or the “stars” – they’re aren’t the right number. It’s art. :) Yummy art!
I know Lisa took a bunch of pictures, which hopefully I will have the opportunity to steal later. My hands were just too busy for pictures, and I didn’t have a pocket for my camera!
I had to take a picture of Anna, because that is just the best dress-up ensemble I’ve seen in awhile.
James scooted around on the floor, and decided he loved these little balls. He would tuck one in his arm and pull himself across the floor with the other arm.
You can kind of sort of see what I mean in this picture:
Isn’t this girl just precious?
Here I think it looks like James is playing broomball! (Ice rink, ball, brooms)
We sure had fun Vandenberges – thanks for having us over!
