Christiana brought her wedding pictures CD over today and I grabbed the ones of Miss Joanna the Flower Girl! Warning: there are like 30 pictures in this post. Can you imagine what I’ll be like when she’s getting married?!!
Just after getting dressed:
Can’t you just see the confidence oozing out of her?!
Joanna and Jade
We also watched the DVD of the wedding today, and I gotta tell you, I teared up a little watching her “walk down the aisle.” Darn pregnancy hormones!
Take a look at Jade’s feet: You’ll see she was running to her Uncle Andy! Joanna had stopped to fix the wrinkle in the runner. You can see Aunt Gail trying to shoo her on.
Christiana and her Dad heading down the aisle
This is where Joanna sat for the whole service. Man, my Aunt Gail has some magical powers.
Heading back up the aisle after the service. Oh, the personality in her face!
The wedding party:
Just a few members of the family (Andy’s side only). We Sturmans make a presence wherever we go!
Ooooohhhhh pretty cake! the layers were all different flavors. Yummo!
The groom’s cake was Pecan Pie!! Oh my. Ahhhhhhh…
It hasn’t even been two months, and Natalie seems so much older looking now. My sweet cuddly baby is losing some of her babyness.
The best reception ever.
I have to admit that I am quite a candy monster, especially pregnant. In fact, looking at these pictures made me stop at the store on the way home for a little sugary goodness.
Aren’t they so cute?!
Awwwww…
The bride and groom opened their house up after the reception for some bbq and time with friends and family.
I have no memory of this, but I love Natalie’s face here. :)
My silly girl!
I’m not sure what my face is about here. :)
Mmmmm… BBQ face on Miss Natalie!
Thanks for sharing the pictures with me Christiana! You are so beautiful!
OK, my all time fav pic of this post is Natalie w/ that pink monkey!!!! How hilarious!! But Miss Joanna was just as precious as can be in her flower girl dress!
ReplyDeleteI remember when you posted the first pics from the wedding, I had to stop reading your blog for awhile, b/c that was right after we found out Tiger was a boy and I was so upset that I wouldn't have a girl to dress up as a flower girl or anything, or even just in pretty dresses and stuff. It just hit me, that unless we want LOTS more kids, we could end up w/ NO girls and I might never get to have that. It was really upsetting, and I cried everytime I looked at your blog for a couple of days. You are very blessed to have such cute little girls and while I also feel blessed with my boys, I can't help but be just a teeny bit envious of all the special mommy/daughter things you get to do with them! So enjoy them!
