Reunited and it Feels so Good!

Lisa and her girls came home Friday evening, and the girls got to play on Saturday!

There was much screaming and excitement when they came to the door.

This is a super cute picture if you ignore the Elmo panties.

I told them to put their arms around each other, but because they are three, this is what I got.  :)

I didn’t try as hard with the little girls.  Sorry, little girls.  I just love how Emma is snuggled into the toddler bed!

Later that day, Joanna and her Daddy got to have their movie date!  They saw Toy Story 3 at the Starplex theatre.  Movies before noon are $5, which to me is a reasonable movie price.  I forgot to send the camera with Matt so there are no pictures, but they had a great time!  It was Joanna’s first movie at the theatre and she made it the whole time.  Matt said she needed one potty break and she got a little antsy toward the end, but other than that she sat in her little booster seat, eating and drinking her movie food.  Matt got her a little box with popcorn, m&ms, and a fruit punch.  She was VERY excited about her m&ms!  Fortunately there was a lady behind Matt who told him about the booster seats that they have.  Otherwise, the fold-up seats would have swallowed Joanna!  I also sent along a blanket so she could snuggle with her daddy… and she did.  :)  There’s just enough left on Matt’s Father’s Day gift card for one more matinee ticket.  A good use of that would be sending Mommy to see Eclipse, right?

Hee hee.  Natalie was tuckered on the way home from Church today.  I just had to take a picture of her cutie-pie self (at a stoplight).

Thumb in mouth, finger in belly button, foot up on carseat.  SO CUTE!

The women’s group, Sola Gratia, sang at all three services today.  It was very fun to learn the music this past week and sing this morning.  It was a cool piece and very well-received by the congregation.

At the 11 service a friend of mine had her baby son baptized.  He’s around 2 1/2 months-ish old.  He is sooooo cute!  I definitely have baby boy fever – I had to stop myself from running up and grabbing him out of Rev. Jim’s arms.  That probably wouldn’t have been good, right?

This afternoon the girls were playing on the loveseat and watching Daddy mow out the window when I heard Joanna say, “Natalie is the princess.”  I didn’t look up even though I was sitting right there (pretty sure I was reading), until she said, “Now I’m a princess, too.”

I looked up and discovered the hats that made them princesses:

They were clean, just FYI.  :)

And I will leave you with images of the giant insect Matt insisted on taking pictures of.

Don’t know what it is, but it’s much huger than it looks like on the camera.  The background is the girls’ plastic slide in the backyard.
