Taking it easy.

This week I've committed to taking it easy around here, and I think it's really helping me. I haven't worried about coupons, unless I knew they were in my coupon box. I've been to the store twice just for things we needed. I'm keeping up with what's on sale, but not stressing over it this week. I haven't made my big "stock up" run with lists and coupons and everything. I'll get back into that slowly over the next couple of weeks. I've just been literally wiped out lately. I've also taken a break a bit with cooking this week. I have been cooking about every other night -- something easy and eating leftovers in between. That's been a little rough on Matt since I haven't been letting him take leftovers to work for lunch; he's been having to make sandwiches every day. Yup, he makes his own sandwiches, poor man. I also haven't hung any laundry out this week (that's partly being tired and parly the lots of wonderful rain we've had.) I'm trying not to do much laundry also since we all have a plethora of clothes and they just sit on the loveseat forever after they're washed. There are certain things that will need to be washed soon, though. I've also let myself relax in the evenings and sit on the couch, watch TV, and have computer time (hence the abundant blog posts!) Anyway, these few temporary cutbacks have really helped my energy and stress levels. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things... slowly. Nobody likes a tired, stressed Mommy.
